You can pick up this construction-site lamp in any renovation centre. All it takes to give it a more glamorous look is some pink and gold paint. A super quick project that’s a snap to do.

  1. Remove the lightbulb from the lamp and tape off the cord and base.

  2. Wipe down the outside of the lamp with a lint-free cloth.

  3. Apply 2 coats of pink chalked paint with a brush on the exterior. (You can also use spray paint.)

  4. Once the exterior is dry, use gold spray paint on the interior. Allow the lamp to dry fully before using.

Other Materials:

  • Metal construction-site lamp
  • Painter's Tape
  • Lint-Free Cloth
