- Clean the empty can thoroughly and ensure the surface is fully dry.
- Using the Modern Masters Metal Effects Rust kit, apply the primer onto the surface and let dry.
- Once dry, apply the iron effect with a brush. Let dry for one hour.
- Tape off all unprotected areas, and apply the activator to magically make the rust appear. Let sit for two hours for the finish to fully activate.
