We made this for our big dog Bali because he grew up (and I do mean ‘up’) really fast and we wanted him to have his very own doggy dining room at home. Bali just loves it and eating is no longer a pain in the neck for him!

1. Build the structure with 1 in. x 1 in. boards. Fasten with glue and nails. Height and dimensions will vary depending on the size of your dog.
   
   
2. Lightly sand the structure to soften the edges.
   
   
3. Apply 1 coat of soft-to-the-touch Varathane^® clear varnish. 
   
   
4. Once varnish is dry, mark off areas to be painted with painter’s tape.


5. Paint the bottom with Painter’s Touch 2X Ultra Cover paint in Matte Black (2 coats). Allow to dry fully.
