Stenciled Cinderblock Planters

Before

Get creative with your outdoor gardening by turning cinderblocks into stenciled succulent planters with Rust-Oleum Universal Spray Paint.

  1. Lay a stencil on a cinderblock and spray several light coats of paint, making sure the stencil doesn't move between each coat. If you're worried about it moving, secure it with painters tape.
  2. Repeat with all remaining cinderblocks with a variety of different stencils and colors of paint. Let all blocks dry.
  3. Arrange the blocks in a corner formation in your desired location.
  4. Cut landscaping fabric to be the same length and width as your cinderblock, and place between blocks wherever necessary, making sure each planter only one cinderblock deep.
  5. Put in potting soil and plants, and water as necessary!
