And for a functional twist, apply a coat of automotive Rust-Oleum’s Peelable rubberized spray paint in fiery red to add a zing of colour and prevent your items from slipping off.

Step 1: Before painting, clean all hangers using a lint-free rag and Krud Kutter Gloss-Off to prep for paint.

Step 2:Using painter’s tape, mask off any wood areas that you don’t want painted (i.e. wire hook).

Step 3:Apply 1 to 2 even coats of PeelCoat Peelable Rubber Coating and allow to dry thoroughly as per directions on can.

Step 4:For an added detail, trim the hanger with patterned washi tape to complement the colour.
