- Screw or nail branches on to stained trunk and stand.
- Apply a light, thin coat of Chalked Ultra Matte paint to each pallet board with a brush using the directions on the can. Let the paint dry for approximately 30 minutes.
- Lightly apply Satin Eden spray paint every other pallet board over the white chalked paint. Use a brush to give it a distressed look and a light spray to add colour. Follow the directions on the can for best results.
- Let all paint dry for at least 1 hour.
- Nail the pallet wood pieces to a post largest on the bottom, smallest on the top, forming a tree shape.
- Decorate with embellished wood ornaments and a twig star. Ornaments can be sprayed with metallic spray paint or Glitter spray paint, which requires a clear glitter sealer.
- Use a piece of burlap for your tree skirt.
TIP: Ornaments were created using craft wood circles.
